Coach K

Chris was M.I.A. in quite a few of my recent posts, because he was busy being Coach K during the soccer season.  While we missed him bunches at home, he had an unforgettable season and made such a difference in these young men's lives!

NES Field Day

The students and staff at Naples Elementary School were treated to a fun filled morning at Field Day.  There were 2 different days for lower elementary and upper elementary, but I got a few pictures of Camden having a great time.

 The 3rd & 4th grade teachers had a tug-of-war match against the 5th & 6th grade teachers.  It was a hard fought battle, but this is a look of looming defeat on my face.

Camden's 7th Birthday

Our favorite little guy is 7!  His birthday fell on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, so we got to spent the whole day celebrating.

Dave & Maddalena's Italian "Wedding"

The marriage celebrations continued the next weekend. After being a part their wedding in December via Skype, Dave and Madds invited their friends here in Italy to a special house warming/wedding party. The guests were asked to wear their tackiest wedding attire and to join in on the Tony n' Tina's Wedding inspired ceremony. I had the role of Mother of the Groom. :)

I bought a $10 roll of burlap and constructed a dress just for the occasion.

Z's 25th

It's the first day of summer vacation and I have some serious catching up to do!  Did I really go the entire month of May without blogging?!?! 

The second weekend in May we celebrated a special 25th anniversary.  Our dear friends, Sherri & Ron Zimmermann, were married on 5/6 at 7:00 in '89. It was only fitting that we threw them a totally awesome 80's party!
