Happy 11th Birthday, Camden!

How can this little boy...
...look like this?!?!
Camden Lee celebrated his 11th birthday on the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend, just like his birth day
We headed to Sperlonga for our annual camping weekend right after school.

Happy Birthday, Camden!!!

A special gift from a special Godmother.
Aunt Jessi said that baby Parker #3 might just be Camden's birthday buddy, and it came true!
He is thrilled to share his birthday with Lucy Helen :)

May Review

May 2018 has been one for the memory books! Here are some of the highlights...

Chris had the honor of being a Confirmation sponsor to one of his soccer players, Caden
Emma's spring band concert.
Caitlyn and Emma are quite the talented trumpet players!
Chris' Grape Lovers Trip to Montepulciano didn't get enough people to go, so we had a Montepulciano wine tasting evening at our house instead.
I was feeling the love on Mother's Day!
These 2 are my everything!
Brunch by the K Kiddos & Zane, followed by croquet with Sherri
Chris "did his thing" speaking to the NMHS junior class
I organized our annual 6th grade scavenger hunt field trip to Pompeii
Camden was the winner of the Kids' Day Run at Carney Park

Enjoying a wonderful Sunday afternoon on the beach at the Schutt's in Bacoli

Emma kicking butt at the NMHS Booster Club's Volleyball Camp

Prosecco Road

One of my "Bucket List" items has officially been fulfilled!  The first weekend in May, Bunny, Kate, Melissa, and I set out on an epic road trip to Northern Italy.
Our destination: Prosecco Road.
We have arrived!
Our first tasting
A snap decision when I was behind the wheel led us to Adami Winery. It was one of the best tastings I've ever experienced.
Saturday morning we explored a little town for a while

Hiking through some Glera vineyards
(Prosecco is made out of Glera grapes)
We learned so much about making Prosecco at Toffoli Winery
Bunny and me :)
 After lunch stop
 Waterfall along Prosecco Road
The ULTIMATE find: a Prosecco vending machine!
Our wonderful guide, Carla, and me showing off our vending machine purchase

 Not bad for a weekend...
