Chris and I decided to stay up in Germany to cheer on the track, baseball, and softball teams on Friday and Saturday.

Soccer Euros Championship Games 2023

This incredibly amazing chapter of the Kasparek Family had quite the finale!

The baseball and softball teams arrived in Germany, so Camden got to enjoy breakfast with Jovin before the championship game

Emma and Kennedy were reunited! 

I did not take any pictures or videos of the championship game.  I wanted to "be in the moment" of Emma's final game. This picture was in Stars and Stripes the next morning. Emma fell to her knees and  is in the middle of the embrace of her teammates after the final whistle.  She wanted to end her career as a Wildcat with a championship title and couldn't have asked for a better group of ladies to help her accomplish that goal!

 When the Sparlings moved to Vicenza 8 years ago, we talked about how excited it would be when Avonlea & Emma were able to play against each other during high school sports.  It has been a true joy to see them on the volleyball court and soccer pitch the past 2 years!

The boys went up against a talented AOSR team in the championship game. They played their hearts out and were the DoDEA Europe DII Boys Soccer Runner-Up
