Today the Jackson Park Child Development Center celebrated 10 years of fun and learning. The staff threw a big bash to honor this milestone. We couldn't have found a happier place for Emma and Camden to call school.

Amor
Mount Saint Helens
On Thursday my teaching partner in crime, Cindy, and I headed down to Mount St. Helens on a scouting trip for an upcoming field trip with our 3rd and 4th graders. We thought our adventure would be more fun with our little guys, Gavin and Camden. Dora and Diego shows were a blessing in the car and they boys had a great time exploring the park.

Operation Purple Camp and Picture Day at Husky Stadium
So Vanessa has asked me to update the family blog since the last two big events for the family were my doing. One of course being the 2nd year in a row for my involvement in Operation Purple Camp and the second being Picture Day at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
The Cutest Kids on the 50..
The Kasparek's Seats....I can hear the crowd now...
So after spending a week at Residence camp with 124 of my closest teenage friends and 42 staff, I was excited to be visited on the last day of camp by Vanessa and the kids. My camp name is Mr. Incredible, so needless to say the outfit had to come out for the final festivities. The hat was a brand new addition. I can hardly wait to wear it at next year's Kasparek 4th of July Bash.
On Sunday the Kasparek's were up early and headed to Seattle for Husky Picture Day. This is the day where the University of Washington opens up the stadium for fans of all ages to meet the players coaches and also take a look at the season tickets that still available. It has always been a dream of mine to own season tickets of some kind. Sure I thought that it would probably be the Hawkeyes, however that is hard to do when we are never in Iowa. So we went the next best route. Washington Husky Season Tickets...It's crazy to think that I will be cheering for a team that I once cheered against...What can I say...I need my college football...and let it be known...If the Hawks and Huskies play in any game against each other...GO HAWKS!!!!
Enjoy the pics...

Silverwood Croak-In
There was a hipity hoppin' party at Silverwood last night. Our first annual Croak-In. Oragami frogs were the speciality in my classroom while Emma and Camden had a great time playing around campus.

One Last Day Of Fun With Nana...
Nana is heading back to Iowa on the red-eye tonight, so we had to fit in one last adventure. We spent the day on Bainbridge Island at Battle Point Park and Faye Bainbridge State Park.
Emma is not a fan of riding her bike in our neighborhood because of the hills so we took advantage of the flat park to practice riding and she did great!
