FLOTUS Visits Naples Middle High School

 Chris had been working behind the scenes for weeks preparing for an extra special VIP guest at NSA Naples.  On Monday, Dr. Jill Biden visited Naples Middle High School

Halloween 2021

After getting home from Vicenza in the wee hours of Halloween morning (thank goodness we got to turn our clocks back for Daylight Savings Time), we were ready to celebrate Halloween.

Emma had to say "see you later" to Jillian!  We will miss the Brown family as they start their next chapter in Bahrain! 

Fall Sports Finale in Vicenza

Our 2021 fall sports season finale took place in Vicenza last weekend. Emma and the volleyball team headed up Thursday

 

Chris drove up Thursday night and I trained up Friday morning.  We were ready to cheer on Emma on the court!

The Wildcats fought back from a 22 point deficit in the second half, but ended up getting their first loss of the season. Despite the loss, they still came out on top as the Europe South Champions (Naples beat Vicenza earlier in the season by more points).

The volleyball team took 3rd place in the Europe South Volleyball Tournament. These ladies only had one loss in the entire season! It was amazing watching them play!

 These ladies are UNDEFEATED!  They closed out their regular season with back to back victories over the American Overseas School of Rome.  Onto the Europe South Championship Tournament this weekend!

The guys traveled to Sicily for football. Sigonella has not had football for 10 years. Since they are a small school, building a team, it was a JV game for the Wildcats.

Homecoming Dance 2021

 Saturday night,  our athletes put on their dancing shoes! Chris was the DJ for the evening and the kids had an incredible time enjoying their Homecoming Dance in the courtyard behind the school.

Wildcat Homecoming Weekend 2021

 The Vicenza Cougars came to town to play volleyball for our Homecoming Weekend.  It was so much fun watching Emma and Avonlea meet up on the court
