A Cornhole Tradition Begins

At the beginning of the summer we were introduced to the game, Cornhole.  Chris was instantly hooked (I'll play, but I'm not very good at it) and wanted to get a set of Hawkeye boards made.  Last week his custom boards were finished and it was time to get some friends together at our house to break them in.

Opening Day of Soccer 2014

It's our 4th season of soccer here in Naples! Hawkeye pride is strong again this year since Chris is coaching Emma's U11 team.  They had an early 8:30 game this morning and did fantastic!

 We don't know if it was being around the Naples High School soccer team, watching a lot of World Cup soccer, or maturing a year, but Camden was ON FIRE today!  He wowed us and the crowd the entire game. :)

We had a fun and busy Saturday!  We celebrated Day for Kids at Carney Park with the Color It Up Run. Camden and Emma both ran the 5K and did great!

After a quick clean up, we headed to Support Site for the opening home game of our Naples High School football team

We had such a great day boating around Procida and Ischia celebrating Madd's birthday, we decided to make a family day out of it during the long Labor Day Weekend
