Emma's Favorite Dress

I noticed last week that Emma favorite blue flower dress is getting a little short on her. She has loved this Land's End dress (that I found at a consignment store) for 3 summers and it's going to be sad when we say so long to it soon!

Why playing doctor's office. Poor Camden had lots of boo boos Dr. Emma had to take care of. :)

Crescent Beach

We found a true gem yesterday! The Warthen family is camping this weekend and we went up to play for the day. The great campground overlooks Crescent Beach and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Here are the kids looking over the bluff at the beach.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch before hitting the surf.

The water was a little on the chilly side, but the kids had a ball running back and forth and rolling around in the water!

We had one tuckered out boy at the end of the day! Crescent Beach is now one of my new favorite places!

Project Runway Dance Party

I am a big fan of Project Runway and Emma watches it with me from time to time. She and Camden played dress up last week and decided to have a runway show and a little dance party. Pay close attention to what they they during the Cha-Cha Slide when it says, "crisscross" and "hands on your knees" :)

A Holloway Reunion!

We were soooooo happy to see Andy, Maggie, and Lily a few weeks ago! We missed seeing them this past year after they moved back to Japan, and we had a wonderful evening catching up! Here are the kids enjoying the pool...

Blogging Withdrawals

It's been a bit of a hectic week at the ole Kasparek abode. After a six week break from Miss Vanessa, I jumped back into teaching summer school. I snapped pictures and downloaded them throughout the week, waiting for the weekend when I'd have some time to blog. Last night as Chris headed off to his week directing Purple Camp, I stood on the porch waving good-bye, and realized that he was taking the computer with all my pictures. I had two blogs I needed to get posted...What would I do?!?!

Emma, Camden, and I were looking at their baby pictures this afternoon, so I thought this flashback that I dug out of the archives on our external hard drive, would have to do. This is August of '07-our last trip to Kamakura and one of the hottest days of the summer. It seems like just yesterday... Chris has not only stolen the Mac, but our camera, too.

It's going to be tough making it through this week without them...
