Nana's here!!! We picked her up from the airport last night and the kids got to have a fun day playing at home with her today. We wanted to really treat her to some spring weather and ordered up some sun and 60s! After school we headed to the trail for a little run.

Let's Get Planting!
Emma is itching to garden. She's been scavenging around the house for seeds. She found one that she brought home from school a few months ago after reading Jack and the Beanstalk and is now convinced there will be a beanstalk sprouting soon. She ate a plum this morning and planted the seed so we can grow a plum tree. :)

Spring Training
Emma had her first T-ball practice yesterday. Taking full advantage of the clear skies and the extra hour of daylight, Chris Kasparek's Spring Training was in full swing tonight!

I sat by the living room window and captured some shots of coach and his athletes.

Catching practice...

Rice Krispie Treat Queen
While we were at the grocery store on Saturday, I told Emma she could pick out something to make for dessert that evening. Without hesitation, she exclaimed, "Rice Krispie Treats!"

Our Alarm Clock
I couldn't resist finding Camden like this last night when I went to bed. Since Camden has moved into his big boy bed, he has become our alarm clock. Yes, we still set it and it goes off at 6:01 every morning, but 9 times out of 10, I wake up to the sound of little feet shuffling across our room. On average it's usually about 5:45 when Camden (with Eugene) climbs into bed with us. He always kisses me on the top of the head and then leans over and kisses Chris (who is still sound asleep) on the top of the head. He cuddles in between the two of us and plays with Eugene or sings songs. After a little while, he always asks to watch something. That's my cue to get up and start the day.
Chris is trying to figure out how this perfect wake up call can be pushed back an hour or so on the weekends! :)
