As we head into Thanksgiving Break we have so much to be thankful for! Here are a few highlights of November...
The Hawkeyes and the Beavers met head-to-head in a dual wresting meet in Corvallis. Emma's allegiance was split so she opted to wear all black.
Chris had the honor of joining Camden on a special NJROTC field trip
In honor of Veterans Day, cadets from Naples MHS NJROTC visited the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery in Nettuno, Italy. It is the final resting place of 7,845 American military war dead. The majority of these individuals died in the liberation of Sicily (July 10 to August 17, 1943), in the landings in the Salerno Area (September 9, 1943), the heavy fighting in the landings at Anzio Beach and expansion of the beachhead (January 22, 1944 to May 1944), and in air and naval support in the regions.
Cadet Commanding Officer c/LCDR Camden K. and Cadet Senior Enlisted Advisor c/SCPO Magnus A. laid a wreath at the statue of “Brothers-in-Arms” on behalf of the unit. This was a moving, somber, and educational trip for our young men and women.
A wonderful Sunday lunch with Mel, Sherri, and Amy
