This morning Chris made another HUGE accomplishment: finishing the Seattle Half Marathon in under 2 hours (1 hour and 53 minutes to be exact)! We couldn't be more proud of him! It was a very early morning at the Kasparek abode, but by race time, we were fully awake and ready to cheer our hearts out. We scored pom poms and cowbells-now we're really cheerleaders! :)
Speedy Gonzales passed our cheering spot while we were going to the bathroom. :( We were thrilled when he called us from the finish line to share his awesome time but very disappointed that we didn't get to cheer him on in the final mile.

it gives me goose bumps to see all these pics and hear all these milestone stories...YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! What an amazing family and team you make! We sure wish we could cheer Chris on in the TOKYO Marathon one year..HINT HINT! After all....his changes did start in Japan....I think it is only fitting to come set a personal best in the land of the rising sun!
(Any chance.....or should I give up now?)
