The highlight of the cruise was the 2 days we spent in St. Petersburg, Russia. Founded by Peter the Great and the capital of the Russian Empire for over 200 years, we were mesmerized by the history of this city.
Our first stop was the Hermitage Museum. The Winter Palace of the Russian Emperors is now one of the world's largest museums. Here are a few of the highlights
World's Largest Vase
St. Issac Cathedral
The largest Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the city
Our tour guide said this was the American Embassy :)
Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood
