Opening Day of Baseball & Softball

It's time for the spring sport season to begin!  Emma is moving up in the world...after 2 years of t-ball and 2 years of coach pitch baseball, she is very excited to play softball!

Go Indians!

After Emma's first game of the morning, it was time for the opening ceremonies

Camden's first at bat
Look at the hustle to first base!
Guess who was also playing at the same time? :)
Such a serious base runner

Right field = some great daydreaming time

A Blessed Easter

Chris and the soccer team rolled in about 3:00 a.m., so he missed the Easter basket discovery and egg hunt when the kids got up.  They were very excited to find jelly beans and chocolate.  After 40 days of no sweets, they were 2 happy kids!

(Soggy) Eggstravaganza

The forecast called for rain and the skies opened up just as we pulled into Carney Park this morning. The CYP staff put on another fantastic event, despite the rain!

Checking out their egg hunt field
 And they're off!

Bags full of soggy candy and ready to get out of the rain!
 Thanks, Cathy, Gerry, and Hank!

Showing Nana the Amalfi Coast

I adore the Amalfi Coast!  It has become a favorite day trip of mine and we had to share it with Nana.
We found some treasures in the ceramic shops in Vietri.  Nana and Emma stop for a picture in the piazza.
The Amalfi Cathedral was beautiful surrounded by the bright blue sky
A little cappucccino in the piazza
