Ciao 2013!

We enjoyed a fun evening at home with a few friends to say Ciao to 2013. Pajamas were the wardrobe of choice and we kicked off the night with some games.

We've Got A Birthday And A Wedding To Celebrate!

December 27 was an EXTRA special day for 2 dear friends of mine.  Sherri celebrated her birthday and Maddalena got married!

Kelli was representing the Italy Divas at Maddalena's wedding in Chicago.  We tested out our Skype connection as she was on her way to the church.

 

We hooked up the iPad to the living room TV so everyone could see.  Kelli got to the church just before Madds was getting ready to walk down the aisle so we got to see her!

Getting home from Christmas Eve Mass after 10 p.m. didn't slow these excited kiddos down on Christmas morning.

Christmas Eve 2013

On Christmas Eve morning, it was cookie baking central in our kitchen.  The kids were pretty independent making Granny's famous cut out spiced sugar cookies this year!

In the afternoon they frosted and decorated

While dinner was cooking, they read The Christmas Story

It was pretty late when we got home from Mass. Emma and Camden put on their new pajamas and set out the goodies for Santa and Rudolph.
