Diving Board Junkie

The kids took swimming lessons the past 2 weeks and I continue to be amazed at how far they have come in the past year.  Last year at swimming lessons Camden refused to get into the water. This year he has turned into a diving board junkie!

Emma enjoys the thrill of the diving board, too.  She was at Carney Park for Camp Adventure yesterday when I remembered my camera. I got to capture Camden's excitement and leaps.

Ravello

Our weekend of fun continued on Sunday. Unfortunately Chris had to work, but Casey, Jen, Emma, Camden, and I loaded into my trusty Fiat and headed south to the Amalfi Coast town of Ravello.

On our way over the Lattari Mountains we pulled over to take in the view of Mt. Vesuvius and the little mountain towns.

 We walked/hiked to Villa Cimbrone. We strolled through the shaded gardens to the famous Terrace of Infinity.

 Emma enjoyed her art lesson about the Statue of David. :)

The Summer Fun Continues

Another summer weekend to make some memories!

Saturday morning we took Casey and Jen to Shoe Alley for some shopping, lounged in our pool in the afternoon, and went over to the Morris' for more swimming and a fantastic dinner.

Emma was a feisty competitor in a chicken fight with Aunt Jen.  

 Gerry made her a special blue Shirley Temple with a pink umbrella.

We are so thrilled to have Casey and Jen staying with us for a few weeks. We had a wonderful time in the pool yesterday afternoon!

4th of July Beach Day

We celebrated the 4th of July at a beautiful beach near Sperlonga.  A few of the Camp Adventure counselors joined the fun, too!
