Home Soccer Vs. Vicenza

Camden spent one last weekend protecting the goal when Vicenza came to town.  He was pretty bored most of the game (which is a good problem for your goalie to have). He did have one amazing assist when he punted past midfield and Magnus made a shot into the net.

Vicenza coming to town means we get to see our favorite friends from up north!
Sinaia and Herky are great buddies 💓

Spring Break 2025: Stirling & Wigtown

Our next adventure was to the town of Stirling

Stirling Castle was a delight to explore!

Chris had heard about this Keep Smiling sign on a building in town
Afternoon gin tasting

William Wallace Monument

Our last day's journey was across Scotland to its National Book Town: Wigtown
Chris was thrilled to meet the owner of The Book Shop who is also an author of some favorite books.
We enjoyed a few hours of wandering through other books stores, eating lunch, and reading in the park.  Later on that afternoon we had a tour and tasting at Bladnoch, Scotland's southern most whisky distillery

Spring Break 2025: St. Andrews & Edinburgh

Spring Break 2025 took us to Scotland!

As soon as we landed on Sunday afternoon, we headed to St. Andrews.  On Sundays, The Old Course is open to the public to walk.  Needless to say, the Kasparek golfers were in heaven!

The famous Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole

Enjoyed a pint of beer at The Dunvegan

Monday was our day to explore Edinburgh. We wandered through the park near the castle on our way to Holyrood.

Tour of the Palace of Holyrood

We walked up the Royal Mile to the castle
We took a little drive to see the Rosslyn Chapel

Camden wanted to go for a run, so we found a pub in the next town over for him to meet us.
The Masons Arm had the BEST pub dog! 💗
