Emma played her first soccer game in Carney Park in September of 2011 (that just happens to be her friend, Thomas, on the left) and her last soccer game at Carney Park on Saturday. The girls ended their regular season undefeated with a 2-1 win over Sigonella

Life Lately: April 2023 Edition

April, you kept us on our toes! Besides soccer, we have been busy making memories!

We celebrated our 21st anniversary. 💕Emma snapped this picture of us after Holy Thursday Mass just as the sun was setting.  I wouldn't want to be on this crazy ride of life with anyone else!

Renee came back to Naples for the Youth of the Year Conference.  It was so great having her stay with us for a few days. We are happy she is loving life in Bahrain, but we sure do miss having her living down the road!

Soccer girls enjoyed the beach after last Saturday's home game

Some of the NMHS student body held a sit in as a peaceful protest against a prom policy that did not allow juniors and seniors to invite underclassmen as guests.  Emma, Kennedy, Breydon, and Treyvon met with the administration team and after a very productive conversation, the policy was revised!

Only a few more weeks of one of my favorite times of day...Herky & I walk up to the end of our road to "meet the kids" walking home from the activity bus.
