Spring Break Trip to Puglia

 We headed to "the heel" of Italy for a few days over spring break.  We stayed in an adorable trulli house in Alberobello

After a yummy lunch, we dodged a few rain drops and explored the town.

On our second day, we hiked through Castellana Grotto Caves

We went to the picturesque town of Polignano a Mare and enjoyed some spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea

On our final day, we traveled deep into "the heel" and wandered around Lecce for a few hours

Conti Zecca Winery was a true gem! We had such a fantastic tour and wine tasting!

So glad Mel and Zach joined our road trip caravan to Puglia!

In between our whirlwind basketball season, we had some fun adventures...

DODEA Europe South Championship Tournament

No basketball last season...3 months of practice with no travel allowed to play games... 9 games in 3 weekends! The finale of this crazy season was the Europe South Championship Tournament in Vicenza

Both teams won all 3 of their games on day one of the tournament.

Basketball Weekend in Sicily

The Wildcats travel to Sicily for a weekend of basketball.  The girls had 1 loss and 1 win against Sigonella.  The boys had a 3-0 weekend with 2 wins over American Overseas School of Rome and 1 win over Sigonella.

Then I volunteered at the home wrestling meet Saturday.
