We've Been Waiting For This Day!

September 24, 2011 vs. September 25, 2021

Chris and I have been looking forward to those magical 2 years when our kids are playing high school sports at the same time. When they started playing CYP soccer our first fall in Naples, who would have guessed we would still be here 10 years later?! 

Our hearts were bursting on Saturday when we got to watch Emma play volleyball and Camden play football.

Noteworthy – Audrey Villareal had 19 aces and 4 kills for the Wildcats, while Emma Kasparek had 9 aces, 8 assists and served 14 straight winners at one point. McKenzie Smith added 7 aces, 6 digs and 3 kills.

Emma continues to impress us with her growth as a volleyball player! Watching her serve 14 straight points was MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!!

Camden has been cheering for Wildcat Football since he was in kindergarten...

Military Connect Kid Problem: What is your hometown?

Both kids consider Iowa "home". Camden's creativity showed in the football program when he combined both of his parents' hometowns (Swisher & Winterset)

Back on the Court

 It has been a LONG 18 months without any high school sports.  Opening weekend of high school volleyball finally arrived!

Before they headed to school on Friday: Camden's first JROTC Uniform Day and Emma sported her volleyball jersey
