Mid-May Adventures

 The fun is continuing this month!  

Friday evening Boats & I helped Chris with Operation Get Down Tonight followed by Movie in the Park

Emma, Camden, Gen, Vic, Gabs, and Ryan are all in their socially distanced pods ready to watch Ghostbusters (too bad the rain came 30 minutes into the movie!)

Camden had a great round of golf Saturday morning and scored his first ever birdie

Saturday afternoon we joined Kate, Vito, Chris, Natacha, Dave, and Madds for a delicious lunch and wine tasting at Porto di Mola

Camden, Mason, Jake, Jett, Dylan, and Patrick had an after school adventure at Water Bike Campania.

The best news all week was that the Pfizer Covid Vaccine arrived at the U.S. Naval Hospital.  The kids received their first dose.

Camden participated in the color guard at the NJROTC Change of Command ceremony 

He received many awards including: Outstanding Cadet Naval Science Award, Naval Science Certificate of Aptitude Award, and The Cadet NCO of the Year Award

Hip Hip Hooray! We're so Happy it's May!

Our world has opened up a bit and we've been out and about having some fun!

Camden had a socially distanced band concert on the high school track.  He made the move to the percussion section earlier this year.  

 

Colleen, Amy, Darci, Melissa, and I were so happy to be back at Enoteca 45! 

Maddalena and I had the BEST end to Teacher Appreciation Week.  We took a day off and enjoyed coffee on her patio, pedicures at Donnarumma, and a seaside lunch at Turistico!

Chris' knee injury is much better and he is back on the golf course. Camden has become an official competitor in the Carney Park Golf Association Saturday Blitz.

Our 19 year + 1 month anniversary date. We have a tradition of going out in Pozzouli to celebrate our anniversary.  It had to be postponed until the restaurants opened up again (only outside dining is available and there is a nationwide 10 pm curfew).

Life Lately: April Edition

Spring has sprung in Bella Italia! We just had travel restrictions lifted a few days ago, so it hasn't been a very eventful month.  Here are a few glimpses of our life lately... 

Our 19th Wedding Anniversary was the 2nd one celebrated in lockdown. We enjoyed a dinner date in the sunroom :)

Chris had been suffering with knee pain for a few weeks and a Sunday afternoon golf swing lead to a trip to the ER.  Emma and Herky took good care of him.

Thankfully he is feeling much better!

It has been an amazingly blessed Easter weekend 2021!  Chris was beyond thrilled to be able to hold socially distanced Easter Bunny photo sessions for 117 families on Saturday morning.
