Easter Egg Hunt

After the Kids' Festival we headed to base for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.  The gorgeous weather definitely brought out the crowds!

Our fun filled Spring Saturday started at the Silverwood Kids' Festival.
Emma was quickly transformed into a butterfly...
They are a great match on the teeter totter. :)

Puppet Please Marionettes put on a wonderful show.  Many of the puppets walked around and visited the kids.

Colorful Easter Eggs

Yesterday afternoon was our annual Easter Egg Coloring Event. I think the kids would dye 4 dozen eggs each if I would let them.  Their beautiful creations are quickly disappearing from the fridge :)

Fun at the Warthen Park

Camden and Emma had a wonderful time playing with Claire and Alison yesterday evening. I really enjoyed standing back with my camera, capturing their fun together!

Hide-And-Seek: Easter Edition

I pulled out the Easter box of goodies tonight and the kids were immediately read to go hunting. Emma decided that she was going to leave a trail of blocks that Camden had to follow and at the end of the trail he would find her. :)
When it was Camden's turn to hide, I followed Emma on her search...

Hmmmm, that bed looks a little lumpy and it's giggling, too!
 I found you!!!

Field Trip Souvenir

Who needs to buy souvenirs when you can get a hat like this?!?!
Camden's class went to the commissary today and he is now in love with his "worker" hat :)

The New Reality

As I am sitting here writing this post, Chris is somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean.  We had a nice transition week when Chris was only 2 time zones away visiting family in Iowa.  Now our new reality as a 2 continent (8 time zones away) family is really setting in.
We are so proud of Chris for blazing the trails on our next chapter in life, but we sure miss him.
13 weeks until we are together again!

We got a tiny taste of spring on Friday afternoon. The kids dragged out their lawn chairs and enjoyed a snack in the backyard.
Talking to Daddy on Skype Sunday evening...
3 Kaspareks who love and miss #4 a lot!
