Meeting Cole

An introduction 11 months in the making happened at Sea-Tac airport this morning. Emma and Camden got to meet their cousin, Cole.  Needless to say, it was love at first sight!

A little lunch with Uncle Tim.
Assisting Aunt Lori as she fed Cole dinner.
Hmmmmm...I think Emma thinks she has a new doll to play with.

There's nothing like making Gyoza with family!
Chris and I both scored some cuddle time tonight!

Santa's Not So Little Helper

Chris is a little excited about the holidays this year (I think it has something to do with our special visitors coming this weekend) and started getting out the Christmas decorations. Emma found her Santa's Helper hat and had to try it on.  I think it might be time for a bigger one. :)

Sundays at Starbucks

Every Sunday morning after Mass, Emma goes to CCD class and we have become regulars at the downtown Bremerton Starbucks.  Chris and I really love this little bit of special time with Camden.
If Camden's good during Mass, he gets to pick out a treat. :)
My boys reading the Sunday paper.

 Camden's turn behind the camera.
A little cuddle time with sweetest boy in the whole wide world!

Soccer Finale

Saturday was Emma's last soccer game of the season.  It wasn't the Fireflies' best game, but the girls had fun being together.

After the game we celebrated the season at a party.

(Camden has some crazy hat hair!)

The Joy of Cookies

I find that cookies are one of life's greatest pleasures.  Emma and Camden take after their Mama and are always eager to bake them.  I can't think of a better way to spend a rainy afternoon!

"Good Afternoon, My Name is Russell."

Camden and Emma LOVE the movies Up, especially the character, Russell.  Their favorite part is when Russell comes to Mr. Fredrickson's door for the first time and they take turns acting this scene out.  This afternoon I was playing the part of Mr. Fredrickson and Camden was a very adorable Russell.  If you aren't familiar with this scene.  Here is a link to it:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08K3WNKt-Lg

Ready to Read

With two months of kindergarten under her belt, Miss Emma Louise is beginning to read. One of my favorite things about teaching is being around kids who are learning to read.  Now that my own little darling has reached this milestone, I'm thrilled!
