Trollhaugen Video...

A compilation of some sledding moments from the weekend in Trollhaugen...with or without a sled as Emma will show you...

Trollhaugen 2010

Our 3rd annual President's Day Weekend trip to Trollhaugen was fantastic! The big sledding hill was unbelievable and proved to be a little too crazy for some! Emma and Logan are showing the best way to get down from the top! We were thrilled to have Michelle and Amber along with us. Michelle was a rock star after getting 2 cracked ribs on her first ride down the hill (not recommended with 2 people on a saucer sled).
We loved hanging out with the Bugenig boys! Hunter and Camden had a ball!
and here's Logan and Emma! Our romantic Valentine's getaway! ;)
After this run, Emma said, "That was just like riding a motorcycle with Logan!"
Camden hangin' with his ladies...
Chris, Amber, Matt, Michelle, and Chris enjoying a little game of Catch Phrase. Alison and Camden (with Eugene nearby!)
Chris and Camden on dinner duty.
We woke up to rain on Sunday morning, but in true Washingtonian style, a little rain didn't slow us down! Amber and I getting ready to race down on the Zipfys!
Aimee and Claire on an awesome run down the hill!
Louie was putting on the breaks trying to let Hunter catch up with him.
The blue skies came in the afternoon and we had quite the party at the bottom of the sledding hill.
Chris caught some serious air on this run on the Zipfy!
The aftermath...
Camden played so hard, he needed a little snooze. :)

A Great Way to Start 31!

I had a fabulous birthday complete with a lunch date with my amazing husband, getting ready for our weekend trip, joining the kids' Valentines parties at school, catching up with our pal, Amber, and watching the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics!

Punxsutawney, I Think You Were Wrong

I know our friends on the east coast are miserable with their weather, but spring is definitely in the air in Washington! I think our cherry blossoms and flowers better be careful coming out this early!
I suggested (begged) that we take down the Christmas lights this afternoon since it is February. I seemed to find myself preoccupied with other projects in the garage, which thrilled Chris. He is pretty darn speedy getting them down! ;) Camden riding his bike...
Emma taking Clara Milkshake on a walk...
A little fun with the stomp rocket...

A goofy laugh from our goofy boy!

Happy Birthday, Chris!

Camden strategically places the birthday candles... A wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday Camden's ready to blow out the candles mid-song...
A group effort!
Happy 35th Birthday to the greatest dad and husband!
WE LOVE YOU!

A Little Mid Week Fun

As I said in last night's post, I was really missing our camera last week while Chris was gone. After dinner tonight I decided to snap a few shots of life at the Kasparek house on a typical evening. The February festivities added a little more excitement tonight. We are making Chris' birthday cake and Emma started working on her Valentines.Camden the goof ball dumped out all the stencils and put the storage bag on his head. :)
Trying to get a smile from Miss E...
I guess I got what I asked for!
The first shot we took of ourselves, I forgot to zoom out (I quickly deleted the close up of my nose and mouth-yikes!)
Bath time! The kids prefer taking showers-especially since this is Camden's favorite thing to do:

Just like big sis, bringing out the cheesiest grin!
A new hair style???
