Let's hunt for some eggs!

We kicked off the Easter weekend this afternoon at our neighborhood homeowners association's Easter egg hunt. Chris's programming mind was going wild as he sat back as a spectator-the wheels turning in his head the whole time. Afterall, he is the master of programming Easter egg hunts! Emma quickly filled her bunny basket with a load of eggs. Camden was content crawling over to one blue egg and entertaining himself with it.
We took our loot home and enjoyed a delicious dinner of fish sticks before going to Good Friday Mass.

St. Patty's Day Parade

Well Saturday in Bremerton, Washington was a cold, chilly day, but the folks in green came out for the shortest parade in the world. At least that's what they say... three and a half city blocks later, and we were finished.
Emma and Claire rode their little tricycles and I pushed Camden in the jogging stroller (Vanessa was in Seattle taking her Praxis test for her teaching certificate). Emma pedaled the entire way. Claire had the wave down as she pedaled. Pedal, Pedal, Wave, Pedal, Pedal, Wave. Emma....not so much.
At the end. Camden was awarded the youngest and cutest baby in the parade. We are so proud of him. Pictures of the Trophy Ceremony will come later this week. We are really starting to love this great state. We are planning to play the lottery next week. Enjoy the pics.....

My little bookworms

Usually when it's quiet in our house, I begin to wonder what is up. This was such a nice surprise to find! My two little bookworms were too cute reading with the afternoon sun pouring in the window.

Camden eventually discovered me taking pictures and had to come ham it up for the camera. ;)

The cute cookie baker

Here are a few pictures of Miss Emma making cookies yesterday. She has been into Strawberry Shortcake lately and was so excited to make Gingersnaps since one of Strawberry's friends is Gingersnap. :)

Elmo meets Yoda

When Emma came home from soccer this morning, she found me sorting through her "hand-me-down" clothes and discovered her old Halloween costumes. Elmo was pretty big when she wore it for her 2nd Halloween so she was able to squeeze into it. I just had to put the Yoda ears on Camden (Emma was Yoda for her 1st Halloween). Too cute!

Where did that smile come from?

Emma's toothy grin has always cracked me up. While looking through some old pictures, my friend, Aimee, grabbed this one of me and said, "Now that is Emma's smile!" Sure enough when we compared these two pictures, the apple does not fall far from the tree. :)

Sunday afternoon at the park

We loaded the kids up in the stroller and went on a family jog to the waterfront park yesterday afternoon. Emma said she was "kicking the sky" when Chris was pushing her on the swing and Camden loved exploring the playground.
