Battle Point Park

We headed to Bainbridge Island this morning to check out a new park a friend told me about. Spring is in the air (in fact, we have some flowers starting to come up in our yard!) and we had a blast being outside. Unfortunately our camera is still being repaired, so I grabbed Emma's. ;)

Enjoying a picnic lunch... Camden making beautiful music!
That would be Emma right above the fence line...
She's always yelling, "Higher! Higher!"

A reunion with Snyds!!!!!

Thursday I turned the big 3-0 and I told Chris that the perfect birthday gift would be seeing my best bud, Mandy (a.k.a. Snyds). The last time we saw one another was the summer of 2005! To my surprise, Mandy came to Washington for the weekend! She and Chris love to plan surprises for me (they're the greatest!!). This weekend was our trip to play in the snow at Trollhaugen, so Mandy joined in on the fun! Emma and Camden on the sleigh ready for the snow cat to haul us (and all our stuff) into the lodge.
What a great action shot-I was the muscle to get them going!
My 2 favorite guys!
Emma and her "godmodda" (Emma is so cute when she introduces Mandy as this!)
Camden couldn't see much but he was giggling!
Here comes Emma!
Um Mandy, you're supposed to avoid the trees!

Soon after this picture our camera decided not to work (grrrrrr!) so Mandy became the official weekend photographer. Stay tuned for more pictures of our fantastic weekend!

Valentine's Day Half Marathon

We headed to Olympia this morning for Chris's second half marathon. He has been training hard since he got the green light after his shoulder surgery and we couldn't be more proud of him! He set a personal best by 3 minutes! It was a little on the chilly side (yes I do realize that it is February!) but Michelle and I did our best to keep our little cheering section warm and moving! Team Kasparek Cheer Squad!
We are very excited to cheer on the full marathon runners!

Daddy/Daughter Dance 2009

Well it is hard to believe that Emma turned 4 a month ago...and it is even harder as her Dad to see her growing so fast...Last night when she came in all spiffied up, I almost cried...She looked like such a little lady...I am so proud of her, I just wish I could hit the pause button...because I know time is not slowing down.
Two great looking Families...

Beautiful day!

This morning we were honored to be a part of sweet baby Alison's baptism. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious brunch and got to take in the spectacular view of Dyes Inlet and the Olympic Mountains. (Camden's a little tired...)

Trying to get the perfect shot

For the past few months, I've been trying to get a cute picture of Camden in his Raiders shirt to give to my brother, Nathaniel (a.k.a Uncle Lou)-the world's greatest Raiders fan. Camden is quickly outgrowing this shirt (his little belly did look very round in it!) so yesterday was my last chance to take the picture. This is what I got...

This is why he's my favorite b0y!
