Our first guests!

Our dear friends, Andy and Maggie Holloway made the trek from Seattle to visit our new abode. We put them to work helping us hang things. Emma assisted Maggie putting the high chair together. Afterwards, they celebrated with a little dancing. Camden helped out by drooling all over everything and looking extra cute in his sushi shirt. After all our hard work, we cheered the Red Sox on in their World Series victory! :)

It isn't Fenway Park

It's an understatement to say that Chris is thrilled the Red Sox are in the World Series. Here he is sitting in our car in the garage enjoying a cool IBC and listening to the game.

Monster Bash

We had a great afternoon at the Monster Bash in Bremerton. From the moment she woke up this morning, Emma could not wait to put on her Sleeping Beauty dress and go to the party. As I was looking for costumes for Camden and mentioned a cute chicken costume Chris was quick to reply, "No way!" but then that creative mind of his kicked in and he said, "Wait, get the ckicken costume and he can be a Chick Magnent!!" So, Camden was a huge hit (and made people think, then laugh) at the Monster Bash. He was a little tired during the costume parade, but Emma perfected her Sleeping Beauty smile!

Home Sweet Home!

We are officially homeowners! It has been an exciting and overwhelming week for our family. We got the keys to our new house on Monday afternoon and the moving trucks (yes that's more than one!) arrived bright and early Tuesday morning. We are unpacking fools right now! Chris is working on his "sports meca" as we speak. There is a little path from the door to the office to the computer-this is definitley the scariest room right now!

Emma was thrilled to have her star bed back and is having a reunion with all her beloved toys. Camden is in love with the Jumperoo. It's been a lifesaver this week!

New House? Not Yet......

Well after the anticipation of being in our new house...we were more than disappointed Friday when some paper work snafus kept us from moving in...So here we are, spending the weekend at the Silverdale Beach Hotel enjoying a room that we do not have to pay for and waiting for the move on Monday...Some obvious highlights are:

1) The Pool

2) Emma gets a Huge Bed

3) Emma continues a Babi Tradition "People Magazine"

4) Camden's Smiling Face

Oh and did I forget to mention that the Jimmy got towed today....Gotta love electronic problems in vehicles...Good news from that experience...We learned the Washington Citizens may be just as courteous and helpful as those in Iowa...Who would have thunk it...

We missed Daddy!

Camden and Emma are glad be back home with Daddy. Emma didn't think Chris needed to go to work on Wednesday morning since she wanted to hang out with him. He asked her how we were going to pay for our new house if he didn't work. She ran off and got her purse and said she had money for the house. :) Thanks Aunt Jessi for the cool Halloween shirts!

Grandparents ROCK!!!

Camden, Emma, and I owe Pops, Babi, Grandpa, and Nana a huge THANK YOU for hosting us the past month. It was so nice spending time with all our family and friends in Iowa. We miss you and love you all very much!!!!!!

Something to chew on...

Our little guy got his first 2 teeth in on October 4th. It must be something in the Winterset water that makes teeth come in-both Emma and Camden got their first teeth while visiting Nana and Grandpa Seaward.
Camden's a little drool monster and is always looking for something to put in his mouth! Emma got a quite a surprise when she bent down to give him a kiss on the cheek and he tried to chew on her nose! Thank goodness for teething rings!

A trip to the pumpkin patch

Emma was in pumpkin heaven when we visited a farm near Winterset. She loved the castle made of straw and was a pro at the pedal tractor. Emma found a perfect pumpkin for herself and then picked out another one for Camden.

Emma's first haircut

Emma had been talking for weeks about getting her haircut when we were in Iowa. She was such a good girl sitting in the chair eating her sucker as Rachel snipped away. She was very excited to take some of her hair home in an envelope. :)

Embracing technology...

Well, I decided it was time to get with the game and start a blog. I've enjoyed checking out my friends' blogs for their updates. Camden, Emma, and I are in Winterset right now hanging out with Nana and Grandpa Seaward. We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Swisher with Babi and Pops Kasparek and are now doing the Central Iowa leg of our trip.
Emma, Camden, and I were out walking on Sunday and Emma asked, "What's that boy doing?" I looked up and saw a man mowing his lawn. I explained the art of lawn mowing in 2 year old language and now she's excited to get a lawn mower in Washington!
